mattri is starting off with a positive reputation.
When did the 3.0 go ohc?
Looking at an 93 ranger owner says it is a 3.0 sohc. Aren't the "vulcan" motors ohv? When did the 3.0 go to ohc? Thanks, Matt.

tomw has a good reputation on FTE.tomw has a good reputation on FTE.
To my knowledge the only 3.0 ohc is the one used in the Taurus/Sable. It is a 24 valve engine, and I doubt it would fit into the Ranger because of its width.
The 3.0 Vulcan is ohv.
