My daughter bought her first car

She got a 2006 Fusion with only 32k on the clock. She had to go to a Hyundai dealer to find it. The thing that surpises me is that she's only 20 years old. I figured she would go after the Mustang or something else that normally attracts young people.

I think she made a good decision.

I think she did too. Fruit doesn't fall far from the tree......perhaps she was listening closer to your comments over the years than you realized. Way to go dad!

I just bought my first brand new car, always bought used until now. It is a great time to buy either new or used.

Fusions and Flexes are popular with the 20 something crowds these days. They are stylish and roomie to take all of their friends out to bars or parties.

Yeah, especially since she's recently married and now living in Illinios!

LMAO! I told that very same thing to my son in law. Then we had the "talk". I told him flat out "don't lay an angry hand on her, and, if you don't want her anymore, then send her home. We'll sort out the details later.

I'll have to remember that...in about 20 to 30 years. Before that I just want to scare the boys

I did that already, it was fun as hell! Nothing is too good for daddy's little girl.

I have to wait quite a few years before I get to scare the boys....my little girl is only 10 months.
But its funny, had I had a boy (maybe next one) I would just be telling him that I would be to young to be a grandfather at the appropriate age for that talk.
