Hello everyone, I have a major problem, I think. I have a 97 Ford f250 extended cab 4x4 with 39000 original miles. When I turn the wheel either way, I hear a loud clicking or clunking sound. Dont matter what speed I am at. I kinda figured I needed ball joints by all of the posts I have read, but this sounds like a ujoint or front axle problem. It is pretty loud when it happens. Any ideas? All help greatly appreciated. Ron

 

ditto on the front u joints not sure if it has cv joints or not but thats what it sounds like good luck
