It works!!! You can also buy what they call pucks but there not hokey pucks. They work great for a budget coil spring lift. Have 2in pucks on my jeep for over 2 years.

reason for making fun of others. P.H.D. in psychology says low self esteem. maybe if you want to purely make fun of people you should find another hobbie. i have a good laugh at one person on here. the rest of the time have to defend myself. grow up people.
You grow up and stop dishing out crappy tech advice

i didnt give out any advice. read entire thread. i merely dont disagree with putting pucks in. im pretty sure there is a magazine as well that has a section entitled home-grown how-tos dedicated to things that arent suppposed to be put on vehicles. the few seeming to be upset about these such things are displaying a large amount of ignorance. vast majority of aftermarket items for a vehicle started in peoples garages and where not intended for the purpose.then marketed them with slight design difference for other things. with no innovation and ingenuity we would live in a boring world. and still use rocks to start fires. wow i bet flint wasnt supposed to be used in a lighter, but it works great. hahaha this thread is a joke

I think there was a bit of sarcasm in that post...
And again on the pucks. There is a big difference between things that aren't originally intended for a certain use but can end up being used, and those that aren't originally intended and still shouldn't...
There is a large diference in the durometer rating of the hockey pucks vs. the vulcanized rubber used for body mounts. Hockey pucks WILL crack and break. It's your choice if you want your cab flopping around when they do.

Ima start carrying a hockey stick around with me so when your cab falls off i can play hockey while they scrap your brains off the pavement.

Ok so apparently some small minded people dont understand that the truck in this signature is a combination of many sarcasims. Please quit being stupid and study up before you run your mouth about it.
well thanks all i wanted to know if they'd rub and they will also learned alot about hockey pucks thanks also and i defaintly won't be using them
roflmao. funny!!!!!!!!!
I've said before, on what planet don't the laws of physics apply where you can properly suspend 1500lbs or so on 6 rubber totem poles? And then add a joint every inch or so? Not on Earth, and not something I wanna be around.
Even half-ass engineering aftermarket body lifts suck.
Would it be ok to stack 3 old 2x4's together and baler twine it all together ?
A few years ago a guy around here actually used 4x6's as spring lift blocks on a Highboy front and rear. They were about 6" tall in the back under the factory blocks and 8" in the front to level it out. He coutdn't understand why it was stupid.
