hey I saw pics of your truck (sweet looking) mine is way to far gone to ever be that nice again... anyway I read you was talking about your lift... I snapped a few new shots of my custom mad lift to maybe give you a few ideals when you re do your truck

I made this lift with about $40- 60 dollars worth of new hard ware (u bolts and I bolts) got them from a semi truck trailer repair I figured if they was strong enough for 18 wheelers my 3/4 wouldnt be a problem..

Thanks for the complement, and idea's with the lift fix. Pretty much gotta take out the
2" blocks the PO put under the FRONT springs, and take out the double stack rear blocks.

Its got 35/12.50/16.5 on it with no rub problems, set up just right, and can still hook up to a gooseneck.

Looking into a shackle flip in the rear, it already has overloads. Either put on a spare set of 6 pack leaf springs on the front or get a 4" lift kit set?

I am pretty happy with the SkyJacker 6" all spring, I put on ol Red. Thanks again for the idea's, am driving it to the May 2 G2G.

wel the question is what will it be used for hauling? or just driving mine was built for hauling a goose neck also hauling junk it will handle 2-3 tons.... what I did was add leaves to my spring pack.. and used "high boy" blocks why I used them block is 2 reasons one they are shimmed blocks to tilt your rearend up to help with the angle... 2cn is that they are metal block and have eyelits where if they ever come lose they won't spit them out... my tire are 35 12.50 15's special order the wheels myself had to order a special off set and I really needed more, but they worked out ....

Hauling "****" lol. Won't be worked to hard, just pulling my trailer with the red mudder over to SMORR once in a while.

I got to get those front blocks and double stacked back ones OUT!! Its a project truck so I am in no hurry, want to do it right the first time.
