226 Thermostat housing? Anyone Have one?

Hey guys I just bought a 49 F2 and I am in need of a thermostat housing for the 226 and can't seem to find one. So anyone on here have one or know someone who wants to sell one? thanks in advance for any help.

Fits: 226 & 254 I-6's.

It's not listed in Dennis Carpenter's 1948/56 catalog.

Sorry...no Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Are you missing one or did one of the ears get broken off...BTDT. I found a good one on ebay. I have a couple of spares but both have one ear broken. There is enough meat left that it will seal. I was using one of them until I found the unbroken one.

I bet Stacy Brown in Dallas Texas has one new ! Heck a friend of mine took my 226 and sold it for scrap cause he thought I didn't want it . See, I had several old engines stashed away in his garage . Anyway, its Antique Auto Suply on Colorado Lane in Arlington Texas. an I for got the phone but tell em I said HI ! Ed Shaver
