Plug wire length and proper fitting

I put new 65 dollar Taylor wires on my truck a few months ago. Of course, they are way too long, and it drives me crazy!! Is there some way I could shorten them with a kit or something? I want a nice clean engine bay with properly fitted wires! I also went to pull a wire off of a plug and ended up breaking the wire internally. It was on there pretty good. The metal end of the wire was stuck on the spark plug. I temporarily put an old wire in its place, but I need to repair the Taylor wire and reinstall it. While I'm at it, I figured maybe I could shorten all the wires.
