I have an '06 F150 STX with an increasingly annoying squeaking sound coming from the break pedal everytime I press on it. It almost sounds like a "turkey call" squeaking as I push in and let out on the pedal. Driving me nuts!! The truck only has 39000 miles on it and has just receintly started doing this. The brakes work perfectly other than this noise. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

I have a 06 also Mine just sarted doing that a few weekss ago, got it in the dealership and my power pedals were bad they put a new power brake pedal on and noise is gone, I only have 30000 on my truck so it was under warranty.. It also made a popping noise when you got about 1/2 way down on the brake pedal. Good luck to you.

 

I'll have to check into that as to it's driving me nuts. Of course, my warranty ran out a couple of months ago and I'm sure it would be expensive at the stealership. Thanks so much for the info though! I'll let you know if it was the same thing on mine.
