Will a F1 frame bolt to a 1956 F100?

I am building a frame for my 56 F100 with a Volare subframe. However, I got a call from a guy that has a 1950 F1 frame he wants to sell with a chrome Heidts Mustang II suspension and 9" Ford rear. I looked at a F1 today and it looks like the frame is the same width from the back bumper up to the firewall - however it turns inward at that point from 34" wide to 32" in front of the floor board. Will the F1 tapered frame work on my 56 which is 34" from front to back with no taper. Also will the cab and front sheet metal bolt up or install with minor mods? Thanks
