The dealer near me (who I refuse to do buisness with because they are a bunch of crooks) has had 4 Amber Gold Crew cab 4X4 XLT's with the Chrome package. While I prefer the FX4 and it's grille, Ive got admit, these look sharp (except they have thoes ugly 20 inch rims and Perilli Tires) I also saw one FX4 in Amber Gold and thought it looked sweet.

Has anyone purchased a truck in this color? If so a) post pics and b) whats your opionion on the color? It's the only color of the new model Ive yet to see on the road.

 

IMHO, and with all respect to anyone who spent their hard earned $$$ on one.... that is simply the ugliest color on a truck, EVER. Only my infant son could reproduce that color... if he was ill.

 

If you like the gold color, then that's all that should matter. I saw one today, and it is a pretty truck. I have a Stone Green 08, and it looks Brown to me and everyone else. Not a bunch of those out there either, but I like it.

 

I've yet to really see one on the road, and I don't recall seeing anyone post pictures of their's on the forums?

 

My bad...Pueblo Gold is the color I saw. According to Ford's website, "Amber" Gold isn't even an option.

 

I have my XLT on order. I have the pueblo gold as the accent color with stone green. I'm not too sure of the gold as a primary color, but I have only seen pics and none in person

 

A local dealership got an Amber Gold XLT with thier first shipment of new 09 F150's. It's still there waiting for an owner.

 

i seen one that color, looked like dark urine, not a good color.

 

lol...I want to see one now. they don't even list it on their website as being a color. Probably because it's that bad?

 

So maybe it should be called "Amber Rain" or "Amber Showers"...I'll stop...SOMEBODY on here probably has one, and I don't want to upset them.

 

i think its a sharp looking color. if i were going to buy a half ton that would be one of the colors i would consider. i like it.....

 

There will always be unique styling choices only a few may agree with. I'm not a big fan of the color myself but then again I tend tp play it safe with such things. At least anyone that may choose the Amber Gold isnt putting yet another blase black truck on the road.

I saw one on the road last week....can't bring myself to like it, but as others have said, to each their own.

It was a LOT of BRIGHT A** ODD color at the stop light across from me.........

 

I saw one on the road a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was the ugliest color I've ever seen, kinda looks like calf s**t. But I guess the owner must like it, so thats all that matters.
