temp gauge

Pardon this extremely stupid question, but where exactly is the stock sending unit for the temp gauge? I want to replace it with an aftermarket one. I have the 360, if that should help.

Temp Sender location.............

More specifically, Standing in front of your truck if you will look at the thermostat housing and use it as a sort of a "clock," you will find it at about 11 o'clock position. It will be about an inch or so away from the thermostat at this location.
