One more thing, are those rims the "split" or "locking" ring type?I bet they are.If they are and you don't have experience or someone with you who does(DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DISMOUNT/MOUNT TIRES)I have seen many of these rings blow off when an inexperienced person tries to do them.I have done thousands of truck tires in my life and whenever I do the split rims I always break a little sweat. If not done properly the ring can blow off,if you are lucky maybe two broken arms,if you're not well,it can get really ugly.

I had a mechanical issue and need to pick up the truck with a trailer. It is out of town and I don't have the track distance for the width of trailer needed. Anyone have an idea on the width of trailer required.

Thanks.

Trailer width will need to be in the 8 foot range to have all the tires on the deck. Trailering a truck with the outside duals hanging over the rail can cause problems and may be a legal issue in your area.

Here is some info on the wiring/brakes that I have. Disclaimer: THIS CAME OUT OF A BOOK FOR MY 1971 covering all of 1971 SO SOME OF THE WIRE COLORS, PLACEMENT, MAY BE DIFFERENT. You get the drift. The pictures are still big enough to read but can be blown up without distortion. For whatever reason it only shows a v8 for the F500-750. There are a couple of pages that are F500-750 and a couple that are F and B500-750. Don't know the difference. If you want the original just pm me your email and I will zip them and send them to you. This is lengthy...Justice

Thanks Redcat. You are absolutely right on the size needed. I found someone to trailer the F500 home. He had a 34' dovetail gooseneck with a 8.5' wide deck. The F500 width fit comfortably with 3 or 4 inches to spare on each side and lots of length to spare.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I just might have to take you up on the L model stuff a little later this year. I have a cab swap to do on an LN9000 later this fall.
