Exclamation May 16th GTG at Joe's house

Ok Oregon FTE members. My address is 646 SW Cedar Hill, Madras, OR 97741. The nearest cross street is SW Belmont AVE. I'm 1 block west of the Culver HiWay. The 16th is a Saturday. This shindig's gonna be a pot luck style. Bring something for everyone. The more people that can show, and can confirm, the better. We are just about all moved into the new house, and my co-workers may be here too. I can cover a lot of things in the way of food and drink, but the more you bring the better. I'm all for the classic American BBQ. Hot Dogs, and hamburgers are good. Chips, soda, frosties, whatever. I HAVE ONE RULE........IF YOU DRINK MORE THAN ONE BEER, YOU CANNOT LEAVE FOR AT LEAST THREE HOURS. I WILL HAVE YOU ARRESTED MYSELF IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. Sorry all, I am a stickler for automotive safety. I'm going to go for the sausage dogs, and lots of ruffles, and doritos. Pepsi products are my personal favorite. I have three children under the age of ten (5 boy, 7 girl, and 9 boy) If you have kids, you are welcome to bring them too. I have a dog, and two cats. The dog is a barker, and skittish, until he gets used to you. We need to coordinate this thing, so that we are all on the same page. My number is 541-279-1157, the wifes cell is 541-279-7244, her name is Ryan. I'm out of paper, but will get a map drawn and scanned this weekend.

Sounds good. I'll confirm for sure in a couple days, but I don't see any problems right now. I'll bring a couple 12-packs of Pepsi products, a big pot of pulled pork and some buns. I can score a noodle salad from Wal-Mart or Safeway as well. I'll have the camper loaded and will plan on heading on through and camping somewhere on the way to the valley. This means I'll have my dog too, but she can stay in the camper if she misbehaves. (She's a bit excitable.)

I assume we're aiming this at eating sometime in the early afternoon?

Yeah. Kind of a buffet set up. Gonna aim for early afternoon, but will have snacks and stuff laid out for most of the day, just in case. I suppose we'll start grilling and such as soon as enough people start showing up. That's also why I like hot dogs. It aint nothing to refire the grille and throw some on for a late comer or two.

I will be there! We should post up who is coming and how many ( wives, kids, etc) so Joe will know how many to expect. It will be just myself, as we take care of my mother-in-law ( she has alzheimer's) so the wife won't be coming. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. It will be great to meet and swap stories.............

Fte'er low54 (Devan) from Bend is gonna try and be here. He's not an Oregon chapter member (I don't think) yet, but I think we can get him on board if not. So far, it looks like all you guys, maybe one or two more fte'ers, and I do have a few friends, and co-workers and such that'll be here too. All and all, should be around 15 adults.

I'll try, my problem is I depend on shippers to have the freight ready on time so I can get to where I need /want to be and it hardly ever works out. I usually get home on 2 week cycles if all goes well and I hope to head home tomorrow. I can try and bring some fresh Alaska fish if someone want to cook it. So make me a maybe for sure.

Ahhhhh, I think we're adults.......that is debatable though. I've never cooked fish, so if someone else has ideas.....by all means.
