Fishing.

Anyone been fishing lately? I am getting the itch so bad I can't take it. I have been under the weather for the past week but I really wanted to go. Since I have not been up to a long drive I found myself fishing in the stream in the yard for horny heads yesterday. I bet the people driving by were looking at me real crazy because the pool of water is not much over triple the size of a standard bathtub. I fished for about an hour and was catching them like crazy but horny heads don't put up a fight nor are they big enough to eat so they are not good for much. I threw most back but a couple I doubted would survive so the chickens got them. If anyone has ever watched chickens fight over a fish or mouse it is better than a football game. I plan to try to make it out to Jackson Lake in a few days to try it out and do some real fishing. Maybe I will catch a couple of those horny heads ahead of time and fish them on the bottom as cut bait.

Went yesterday to the Chattahoochee with a buddy. We landed around 15 trout most of them were really small though. We kept two pretty good sized rainbow ones though.

Thanks. Looks like a nice place. I fished upstream from there a couple days after I started this thread. Just below the dam on Lake Jackson. I did not do so hot because the heat killed my bait. It looked like a promising place so I will be back. Next time I will keep my fishing worms in a small cooler.
