Truck I have: 1990 F-Super duty, vin 2FDLF47G9LCA33710. Its a fire engine. I'm looking to replace just the pickup part of the apparatus. How consistent are the dimensions of frames from year to year? I want to keep the fire fighting equipment and not have to modify it or a newer pickup to marry the 2 together. Any thoughts, advice, people/places to contact? Thanks. P.S. I'm the fire chief of the tiny vol dept using this rig.

Haven't landed on a year. Just looking for more learned guidance as to what may work best. If I have a range of years to pick from then my search gets easier

This is true, from what I gathered the OP just wants to swap the apparatus body to a newer chassis which is a doable swap and done often.
