Hey Rick, check out the very last picture in my gallery..I used the stock explorer tie-plates, cut away the original shockmounts and added a multi position tab for a couple of different shock lengths...careful measuring place's the shock between the spring and the frame..,keep in mind, I used custom built leafspring mounts to place the springs further apart, of course re-locating the spring seat/perches,..5/8 shock studs used at the top on the frame and then bolts to the 'new and improved' tie-plate. Although you can't see the sway-bar, I used the one that came with the rear axle,using the stock links.I tried to mimic the original explorer link angle..though some shim-stock was used between the links and the frame because the frame was a little more narrow than the swaybar...
Sometimes it's easier to just move stuff around to gain the space needed to fit all that 'crap' in there...Good Luck!

Rick;

I too used Explorer rear , modifed spring mounts (Nissan leafs) and existing anti-sway, mounted to frame. I built shock mounts, using 5/8 bolts welded to cross member located forward of the rear axle. Some pics in my gallery.
