Why are looking for it? Are the turn signals flashing rapidly,if so check the bulbs? If one burns out the flasher will flash rapidly. If it doesn't flash at all it could be a fuse burned out.I don't think there is a flasher like older vehicles had.I think its intergrated with a few other things but I not 100% sure.

With the engine off, key on, wait for the warning chimes to stop, then select turn signal one direction. Listen for the relay clicking and follow the noise. It should be behind the instrument panel to the right of the steering column somewhere.

I removed my radio and felt around to the left of the radio opening and located the flasher by feel while the turn signal was working. IIRC there was a black cover over the top of it as well.

turn signal flasher location

remove panel covering fuse box, next remove the screw holding the heater duct work extension, with the duct work removed you can reach the flasher box cover by reaching up under the dash, remove cover from the box, then remove the flasher, the heavy duty replacement flasher is "taller" and the cover will not fit over it, reverse to close

Blinkers

2004 f350 6.8
Drove into town went to use the blinkers and there was no response. My hazards work, everything works. But no response from my turn signals, no sound or lights. Just dead.
went to look at the relay and there was only a black one, blue one was non existent. But there's nothing rattling around the truck so I don't know what's going on.

Check fuse F27 under the dash first.

To find the flasher relay, turn on the hazards and follow the clicking. Same flasher relay runs both turn and hazard signals. Should be somewhere back there behind the radio somewhere. It was moved slightly starting with the 02 model year.
