"Joe is broke down" is becoming as common a news report as "It is raining out" or "GM is losing billions"

A group collection to buy him a new truck might be more cost effective.

Or at least get him a real mechanic ;-)

Very funny Dude. I do like th idea of a collection though.

My front drivers side radius arm snapped about ten mile outside of Englishtown. (Some of use really do go to some of the get togethers)
I hobbled there and found a replacement about 11 that night that some guys had at their stand. Actually it was the entire front suspension assembly, very rusted but some of it salvageable. I can use the radius arms and the rotors, I haven't checked out the tie rods yet, I'm hoping their usable, the whole thing only cost 30 bucks.

Tom (tjctransport), the N.J. Chapter leader came the next morning and with his effort and my son in law's they where able to stabilize it enough so I could limp home.

It was a great show of the chapter members in action helping another member out. I put a call out to George(glruff) from Delaware and Matt(96P_Stroke4X4) from the Pa. chapter to see if they could post and find someone available to give me a hand. Steve(sddesigns) of the Jersey chapter became the phone contact and kept me abreast of who was coming and where they where. I guess there really are advantages to membership.
