Water in fuel light, need help
#3
If there is onlly a small amount of water in your fuel you can drain the fuel bowl. It may take several attempts. Also use a catch basin under your truck. Don't want EPA hounding you. If you have a significant amount of water in the fuel you will need to either siphon the tank or drop it. Might also try fining "Diesel" Heat. It's a water displacer. Good luck.

Hey, Jacob. Open the yellow valve on your fuel bowl, then turn your key to the on position. You should get lots of fuel spraying on your front end. . If you don't have a catch pan under it. lol. You may have to open your fuel bowl to clean the bottom of it. The drain valve don't get all the crap out of the bowl.

BTW when I went to check how much fuel was left in the tank the light was gone.

I'd still drain the fuel bowl anyway. it's only about a cup of fuel. if you care about where you're draining it, put a hose of some sort,on the end of the "pipe" and put the other end in a can on the ground. if you look up from below the engine, near the front of the engine near the crankshaft pully's, you'll see a tube. that's where the fuel is going to come out of.
