Elk Poacher Sentenced

The trophy bull he killed back in Sept. of '06 cost him $50,000 and he can never again hunt in Oregon. I would hope that he would be prohibited from getting a hunting license anywhere, but the article didn't say that.

Personally, I don't think they can fine guys that do that sort of thing enough.

It's nuts like that, that give hunting a bad name. A hunter will obey the rules and keep the tradition generation to generation, I agree they should suspend his right to hunt forever.
