Fluke leads

I am thinking of buying fluke leads for my Craftsman Pro meter, I was wondering would they fit?

Sorry, I can't help you out with that one. I have a FLuke and know what the leads look like. Maybe a pic of your Craftsman inputs would help.

Take your meter to an electrical supply dealer and check. That way you can be sure.

until you realize that they are rebranded fluke leads.

Danaher owns Fluke & Craftsman (and Tektronix & Snap-On, respectively to the tool manufacturers)

i don't doubt that Danaher owns all of those outfits, but they still probably make different products. Fluke aims for one market segment and Craftsman a different one.

Fluke has been big in the electronics industry for years. These are folks who use meters daily and often. They are willing to pay top buck -- just like the auto techs who go with Snap On.

Craftsman stuff is generally aimed at DIY -- and it's generally cheaper. Might be fine for less frequent use.

That's how things were when I retired in 06. If Danaher is cheapening any part of the Fluke line now, they are risking their main market.
