Oh no, I don't live in SC. I live in bristol TN and this place is about 4 and a half hours from me. I saw their website and was really interested because they offer what looks to be great deals on their performance street engines. They break their engines in and dyno them for you plus give what I thought was a decent warranty. I don't know of any reputible engine shops around my area that do what they do. Thats why I wanted to ask you guys about them. I just dont want to get myself into a mess you know.
I've seen CMC Engines here in Greenville... but not CM engines. They don't seem to be the same entities. That company seems to be based in the middle portion of the state. (803 area code)
I have bought at least 30 engines from these guys over the years (work related); they are LIFETIME DRAG RACERS, and are very active in NHRA / IHRA racing and SPONSORSHIP.................Overall......Excellent reputation and excellent people. I am a retired Cummins mechanic and have always used them for my gas engine rebuilds.

If you have any questions about their reputation......go to the Carolina Dragway website and "contact" Jeff Miles (track owner). He can give you a list of references a mile long........................
a buddy of mine bought a engine from them about three years ago for his z71, one thing i know for sure, he beat that truck into the ground. that same engine is in another z71 in my back yard now. still runs great. with no more maintenance than oil changes. i am very impressed, you know for a chevy and all.
