firing order/cylinder location

How are the cylinders numbered on the PSD? are they the same as a GM gas V8, ie: front to back: 1-3-5-7 drivers side, 2-4-6-8 pass side and what is the firing order

2 4 6 8 driver side front to back..not sure on the order ...
