..I have been trying to find pics of trucks with the procomp 4" lift on them to see how "level" they really are.
i run a 4" Pro Comp lift, but i have the taller rear factory blocks, and i also added 1.5" lift shackles up front (with the 4" factory block, 1" procomp block, and add-a-leafs included in the kit, it was taller in the rear). i've been running it over 3 years now, and my truck is no pavement princess (have sidewall, will off-road, lol)... and the kit has held up great to everything. as said, it's stiffer than other kits, but i'd buy an IFS truck if thats what i was worried about.
I didn't like stacking (discimilar metal) blocks so I went to a spring company that makes steel blocks in just about any size you need. My truck sits perfectly level and looks good from the back with just one block.
So for those of you who went with the Procomp lift, what is the rear lift composed of? Is it just the 7/8th block they want you to stack? If thats the case ill just buy 5" blocks and get this lift
I dont know about the Pro Comp kit, but the 4" Zone kit I bought and installed on my 2005 Super Duty it there is no stacking of blocks...
Zone is also made in the USA...I would buy from them again without a second thought.

I was looking at the Zone kit, but i didnt really like how it was composed for a 1999-2004. it doesnt come with a drop pitman arm, it just comes with 1 length track bar, which is weird because they make that $100 adjustable track bar... my buddy put the kit on his truck, it looks great but he said you need to get a drop pitman arm and adjustable track bar, and 5" blocks.

I see...Did you ever try and call Zone.....I have called them and used their live chat alot before I bought a kit.....I was really disappointed in Icon I emailed them a few times and tired calling, no luck.....Im still waiting for that email almost three years later.

Yeah im definitely not doing Icon, way too expensive. Right now im thinking of just doing X codes and 2" leveling kit, because its cheap and think it will sit how i like. But just wondering what 4" front springs would do to my truck...

the kit i bought came with the 1" aluminum block as well as an add-a-leaf. you might be able to get away with just the add-a-leaf in the rear for a level stance in the front on your truck, since like i said above my red truck had the factory 4" blocks and it was higher in the rear once everything was installed (which is why i installed the 1.5" front lift shackles).
i would NEVER stack blocks even if it is a little 1" block. Ive had a block bust out of my old 85 F250 once when beating it through this bad a## mud hole. Cheap 20 dollar lift kit block...... about a grand in damage from split tire, broken shocks, bent drive shaft and a damage bed side. BUT it was a mud only truck so a sawzall fixed the bed and the rest was found at the local junk yard.....
Yeah my goal is to not use add a leafs at all hopefully
Why not? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my rear add a leaf! I did have a spring shop make me a custom full length spring but man i love that piece of steel.... did that just sound weird, i love that piece of steel?
