Yea, when I did mine I didn't touch the main return line back to the tank. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think that line is connected to a hard line (?maybe not?) But I'm sure if you had an issue with that u could resolve it seperately. Or maybe just go ahead and knock it out while you're at it to avoid any future "what ifs" or "I wishes". it does run into metal line ive already had to patch some holes in the metal part with some high dollar fuel line my friend had left over from his race car.. who knows might make it go faster lol
