Progress on '59- Pics!

So I've finally had some time recently to dig into my project(pulled from woods last year). Long way to go but getting there.

Stripped cab

Dump Truck

Well there's yer problem(Buddy's GMC, not mine!)

Not the typical way to remove bed but it works, at to do it that way to get to the last two bolts with grinder. Way worse than it looks, virtually non salvageable.

All done

Already have a lead on another bed. The taillights were removed before it was flipped back so they're fine. More pics in gallery.

BTW, those angle grinders are handy little suckers.

I remember when my '60 looked like that. It even had the exact same rust holes in the floor. Keep pluggin' away at it.

thanks guys.
really only thing I have left to do is weld up the floor a little better and get a seat. Then I will at least be able to drive it and get motivated to tear it completely apart and make it nice.

Only problem I'm having is the throttle assembly is missing. The actual pedal is missing but the piece it pushes on is gone. I had a spare throttle assemble from a montero but can't get it to line up right or fit right no matter how much I cut or bend.
Anyone have any ideas or have an original they're part with for super cheap?

Let me look for mine and I'll let you know what I have. Can't remember right off hand what I did with it.
