Question turbo question

has any one owned a htt the big bad wolf turbo for a 99 powerstroke if so did you notice a difference is it worth it

I think most people for that kind of money go to a Garrett GTP38R.

It's a ball bearing turbo so it spools faster. I've known a few guys that run the 38R and none with the Big Bad Woof turbo. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

I drove a truck with a version of the Big Bad Woof. It's a super laggy turbo that takes forever to spool up. You'll be better off to skip it entirely.

38R is a ball bearing turbo, Wolf is not.

Few other differences in the inducer size, map, spoolup, etc. 38R is a much better turbo. Has a quicker spool time down low, and will move more air on the top end too.

im going to do alot of pulling of my car to the races about 80 mile drive one way will the garrett have any problems

I run the 38R in my truck, and I use my truck to tow, drag race, offroad, and everything else. So far mine has worked flawlessly.

what is an averge price for the 38r and will i have to replace anything else
