I was referring to Bill, who is now Power Hungry Performance (PHP) and a site sponsor of FTE. Bill, Jody & Tony have all crossed paths in the past. Each has his own little differences they put in their tunes and/or packaging. Bottom line is all of those guys write tunes that will run circles around the Edge.

 

so I have decided to get the DP tuner but not sure which options I should purchase or how to order it.

Dont really need a flip chip but if I had to choose I would like
1 setting to make the truck fast
1 setting to make the truck tow stronger
1 setting to make the truck stock

Any suggestions on how to order that?

 

Get on DPs website. 1 is always stock, you can get like a 20hp tow which is what i got and its much better and nicer shifting. I also have th 100hp race, 140hp aggerssive and exteme and 60 and 80hp econo. They all work well together. You will not be able to maximaize perfomance with the 97 cuase it has the smaller turbo and smaller AB injectors with the 140hp but its best to get it in case you get bigger injs or turbo. I also have 1100rpm high idel too. This tuner is awesome and will outrun banks superchips TS and all tuners. Jody is the man!!!

 

I had a DP Tuner in my truck and it was great. When I upgraded my HPOP to the Adrenaline the DP was replaced with a chip from PHP and the truck likes it much better, so I like it much better too. I've never had TW stuff, but for MY truck the PHP is the shizzy-nizzle! LOL

PHP, TW, or DP put out a much better tuner for the 7.3 and if you're close to one of them, your VERY BEST option would be to go in, have a chat, and get LIVE-TUNING.

 

Contact DP Tuner Direct here or contact a member by the name of Riffraff Performance (Clay) and he can set you up. I wouldn't get anything less than the 60 tow if it were me BTW. I hope you have a good set of gauges already!
