Help! Have codes

So it all started last night when driving home down the highway when engine died almost like i turned it off. No bucking or stuttering just died. Pulled over and started right up. No more problems for the night. Then today I start it up and it acts up ROMP ROMP ROMP then dies... does this 3 or 4 times and then fires up without a problem. Pulled these codes

P0006
P6A20
P6020
P6520
P27FE

Any help is greatly appreciated

chris491 you can do a search on the articles/specs on the bar up top. It lists all of the code numbers and what they are there. Hope this helps.

What are you using to pull the codes? Most, if not all, of those don't make any sense. Sounds like you've got an electrical issue causing a short to ground. Check the wires going to the square box with a bolt in the middle of it on the drivers side valve cover. Either below or behind that box check for wires that have rubbed against any metal and worn the insulaiton down to the copper wires. You can also check the wires going to the IPR to make sure the insulation hasn't become brittle and is allowing those wires to short.

I pulled the codes with an old Hypermax programer. I will check the wires tomorrow since it is dark out now. I am suppose to take the truck in tomorrow to have some work done so I will probably let the mechanic take a look at it. Man im tired of spending money on this thing. Thanks for the help

Be careful you don't get soaked. Those codes are out there. Reset them and see. The ones that return require attention. Anyone close to you? Stop going to shops unless you have to. That is why we are here.
