I looked at a 2005 regency f250 4x4 today that I am considering buying. This would be my first diesel and my DD and tow rig for my rockcrawler that weighs about 6K.

The truck is really clean and shows no signs of abuse. It has about 44K on the odometer. The truck has brand new BFG KM2 tires and drove really well. No smoke on startup or on takeoff.

The only things I can see that is problematic is a small Power steering leak. The blue boot for the intercooler has an oily residue on the outside. I am going to get a OASIS report tomorrow morning to see if there are any problems and if maintenance was done proplerly.

The owner has been running synthetic oil and seems to be a very honest guy. He pointed out any scratches and problems he was aware of.

What do you think this is worth in Texas? He is asking around 25k for the truck.

Is the PS leak covered under the 5/100 warranty?
