Yes, dont even think about scrapping that thing! someone will for sure want it, they may also want or need the mounting brackets off the frame as well? it's just a little bulky to handle but someone will want it.
I just recently sold a 9' bed just like that.

Also since this is back up I just saw a 1939 Truck with a script flatbed on it. I will post pictures when I get home to access them.

Wow, thanks for sharing those photos. The rear lights don't look correct, but who cares b/c it looks neat. I wonder how much he wants for that truck? Any idea?

Hmm.. I am half interested to collect several of them, just to restore them, especially that I now know how to make the vertical wood posts and the floor wood as well.

$9200. He's had the truck up on CL for a few months now.

Where do you get that rear cross member at???!!! Has the Ford inscribed on it, and the brace to goes tot he frame. I've seen multiple flatbed trucks with this and cant find it anywhere.

You can get the rear crossmember from any old FORD made "FORD script" flatbed. The beds came in three different lengths.

Ford script flatbeds can be hard to find. I think up to 1952.
