All right guys. Lets get planning on the next meet. Big Rig Truck Nationals on May the 30th (Rain date is May the 31st). Jr and I learned a few things with this last meet to make this run a little smoother. So I was thinking we should do a showing of our trucks including the boys from the north. I will talk with Bryan at MIR and see if we can't get a section for us but I need to know how many trucks we are looking at bringing. I know mine will be there (hopefully with the hood painted). Hopefully Nelson will show his sweet truck (If not I'll trailer the darn thing there ). I have one other guy in mind that lives down the street that I may be able to talk into coming down and representing for us.
Sounds like a good deal, I'll check the calendar for this way and let you know.

I need to know if I should request a spot or not from MIR. Who is going to be there? Out of those who are going to be there who are actually showing their trucks?
Please let me know by next week so we can ask for the space and start planning on what we are going to do.
Hopefully Nelson will show his sweet truck (If not I'll trailer the darn thing there ).
Hey All,
Thanks Conrad for coming down and helping me with prefitting my Cervines Cobra R hood. as it turned out, the hood had a defect (air bubble) beneath the gel coat and the have sent a new one and will be delivered next Monday May 4th. It is a sweet *** looking hood and will get painted right away.
I am taking it to Complete Auto Body in Waldorf, MD. They painted my Blazer years ago and they have lots of experience with painting Cervines hoods. It will be UA Black with clear coat top and bottom. I ca't wait to finally Get Er Done! I will send out pics right away.
The guy gave me a quote over the phone for $301 to paint but didn't realize I wanted clear coat underneath the hood as well. When I got there they realized the calculation mistake but had to honor the "over the phone" quote for $301. Otherwise it should have been $450! So that worked out well for me.
Conrad your hood is would probably be about $450 or maybe a tad more. But you can atleast see how mine will turn out to see if you want to use them or not.
And I WILL BE THERE MAY 30th WITH MY TRUCK!!!!! The Cobra R bumper will be coming soon too!!!
BTW, The spot hasn't been setup due to lack of participation. What a surprise!
Conrad? you had 3 responces to the big rig nationals post-how many did ya want? I've been sending messages a guy from down here in lusby young guy trying to get him involved-I don't know what ya want - rome was not built in a day!
