5.4L to 6.4L

Does anybody know what it would take to change out a 5.4L to a 6.4L in a 07 super duty?

$$$$$$$ lots of it.... For the money spent a 5.9 cummins will probably have more hp and is a more proven powerplant. If you were to have the complete wiring harness and a new torque converter it would still not be a direct swap.

Y would you want to? you'd prolly have better MPG with the 5.4, unless you were using it to tow a lot.

I took the easy route and traded my 06 5.4 for a 08 6.4. Better mileage for my towing needs. Plus the power to go with it.

pretty sure the endless list of changes would be so extensive and $$$$ u could easily pay to replace the truck for a fraction of the cost and not have tons of hours of labour invested to replace the parts over...

not to mention u would have to replace the entire front clip to 08 sheet metal due to the 6.4"s extra cooling requirements...
