You know I'm suprized u have to get it inspected. Here in ND, as long as ur not breakin any laws, they don't really care what u do to it. There isn't a mandatory inspection that I know of. Would it need to get inspected if u just did a lift without the SAS?
trucks a write off?...

Lol. Just wait, you'll take it on the road for the first time and get a ticket. :P
Thats how it went when I was doing work on my truck. Put in the new 460, attracted cops. Put the 37's on it, attracted cops. Apparently they frown upon no mud flaps. Pssh. Ended up snappnig them off first time I went wheelin' hard.

I always seemed to have trouble with cops at night. Never during the day. I mean the day its one thing, but at night they shine this giant ass spotlight from their cruiser on you and make you go blind if you look in a mirror lol.
So hows that trac bar!?!?!!?

nope i have it...the bushings are on their way here (tuesday) and i should have a welder this week, lookin good, still slow, but good...i keep forgetting i need shock bolts though...then finally i get to drive it! in a very illegal manner, but that will only be temporary, rules were meant to be brok...ummmm...shattered! HA, besides its only going all the way across town, and then about 30km of gravel roads
and i priced out new 35x12.50 rubber for it $1350 everything included, not bad...those are the MTZ...i am also looking at BFG AT M/T, i think thats what it was didnt price those out though...how do those two compare?

I have nothing against BFG AT's. I love those tires. But they are more of a daily driver kind of thing lol. I didn't know wheeling until I got my 37" SSR's and started getting stuck. :P
My vote is still on the super swampers lol.

I guess noone got my sarcasim about going through the trouble to do a SAS to make the front end stronger for the purpose of offroading, then to pick an AT or even a mild MT tire. When I did my SAS, the 1st set of tires to go on were a set of 36" ground hawgs. I wore those things to the carcass then put on a set of 36" IROKS, wore them out and now the 150 sits on a set of 38.5x11" boggers!
No offense to your wheeling style, but if you spent all that time to get your truck off road capable, why kill it with a street tire????? At least get IROK's, they have good street manners, come as a radial if you wish, and are great in the snow and mud. Plus the 36's I had didn't hum as much as regular swampers on the street.
I'm a little disappointed.......

1) need a tire that will last more than a few 1000 km so that rules out pretty much ALL interco tires
2) those to sets im looking at both cost at least $100 less per tire, meaning i can get my truck up off the ****ty 31s faster
3) this is NOT a mud truck, this truck will see pretty much anything that it can climb over, which will be pretty much everything interco tires are dedicated more to mud or rock, not for use in snow or the icy ****ty winter roads here
this truck will be getting 50miles of ICED highway at LEAST 5 days a week in the winter time, ice + interco = bad combo, ice + lots of highway miles = another bad combo and i am a broke ass high school student that cant be replacing $1700-$1800 on tires every 3 months (TSL Radials, i priced em out and i want em but i cant afford them)
if i listen to you guys any tire but interco is a damn mallcrawler tire but funny thing is i see plenty of 33" boggers on trucks lifted over 30" with 15 chrome shocks per wheel
bottom line is i need a GOOD all around tire meant for EVERYTHING and not as expensive as interco, and all four will be the same size AND round, unlike interco
sorry for freaking out im just sick of hearing that "that will be great for your mallcrawler" well WTF? does this truck look like a mallcrawler to you? sure as **** wont when its the first one over the mountain
you have a better idea for a tire OTHER THAN INTERCO? or all they all mallcrawler tires?
i plan on TSL radials or SSRs when i live closer to work FYI, my daily commute and after school job simply do not agree with spending that much on tires $1800 for TSL radials or $1350 for "mallcrawler tires" that will probably be comparable ro better than TSLs in almost everything other than mud and rock
