I live in North Dakota. That last storm we got this spring, dropped 15 inches of snow in a day. Needless to say everything shut down, and that doesn't happen too often in ND.
North Dakota boy eh, of all the states i saw while truckin for 2 months the Dakotas and Kansas/Arkansas area had to be my favorite

i hate subaru drivers in the winter...just cause it says AWD doesnt mean you are above winter driving procedures, they always try and beat you across theintersection cause they think they are invincible cause they are in a subi, until you are parked on top of them, no vehicle has good traction on ice, unless it has track, chains, or studs, i have yet to see a subi with any of the above, sure drive like it though

Hey I think it took me around 6 months to put the TTB under the front of my 74 van. But that was one of my longer projects. As long as u get it done this year.....

hey now like i said, by the time snow flies, my 2wd would be a little sketchy on the ice we get around here, and i wouldnt have a problem getting into ditches with that its getting out that would be a problem
gotta call back tomorrow, the owner of the graveyard still doesnt technically own the truck and couldnt get ahold of the guy today so il ltry again tomorrow but it is confirmed its up for parts and that trac bar is CLAIMED!
i got something done today...new tranny mount, put the alternator back in, messed around with my goofed parking brake setup for a bit longer and drooled a little more, i have a bucket for that now HAHA just kidding

Its all good until you sit down and your superheated pants touch your ass and you scream like a little girl.
...not that i've ever done that.
Hahaha. I think thats the first time that I have ever quoted myself.
So what is left on this damn SAS anyways?!?
u scream like a little girl..... i would rather have the stuff my hands are touching to be warm, than my ass. i hate workin with gloves, and when stuff is too cold my fingers dont like to work very well. lol
Almost too cold to wrench when you have to put the beer on the halogen light to thaw it before you can drink it.
Been there, done that. Sucked!!
me too...i did a starter in 6" of snow 50mph wind and it was about -47 * C with wind chill...that was ugly, even though a starter on the I6 is a 5 minute job, it takes alot longer when the fingers stop moving...all i had was a hoodie LOL but im Canadian im used to it, it was only my finners that were cold and that was from all the steel

You know I'm suprized u have to get it inspected. Here in ND, as long as ur not breakin any laws, they don't really care what u do to it. There isn't a mandatory inspection that I know of. Would it need to get inspected if u just did a lift without the SAS?
