98 F-Series brushguard to 94 F-series compatibility?

I am sure this may have been covered at one time, but I had no luck with my search. Pretty easy and quick question. I am looking at a used brushguard for a decent price for my ranch truck, a 94 F-350. When I contacted the seller, he believes the brushguard to have come off of a 98 F-series. He gave me the measurements, 45" post to post, 76" overall side to side with a 10" wrap. So my question is that I am sure there wouldnt be a perfect fit, and may require some modding, but whats the differences between the two models when it comes to bumper/grill accessories?

Am I looking at some real serious chopping or minor modification to mounts?

Thank you!

well i think hte 98 has a more rounded front end compaired to the brick shaped 94. But if you could posibly take the grill gaurd and just place it on your truck and you can pretty well tell if it gonna half way work or if it needs some mods done

I have a black wrap around grill guard in 99% shape. I think it has one scratch. I'll sell it to you. It cost over $400. You can have it for $150.

Brain fart, sorry. Didn't even think to ask where you live?

Well, I think that will work! I will give it a shot. Its a pretty nice one and a good addition to the ranch truck. Problem is, I am going to have to drive just over a 100miles to see it in person, and I wont be taking the dually due to fuel costs, LOL!

Are you talking to me? I have a picture of my truck with the grill on, so you don't have to drive 100 miles just to see it.

Yeah, I think a sale went down in the midsts of my mess.. LOL!

This is going to be interesting because if my memory serves me right, the measurements for the frame mount should be right about on, but its the curvature in the grill to grill guard assembly that has me worried, along with side to side dimensions. Thsi being a chrome grill guard, applying heat to bend is going to be risky without blueing the finish, and any cutting/rewelding would be pushing the limits on that!
