Sorry this is so off topic. I just had to show it off and I know you guys aren't jerks like some guys on the other popular forums. Delete it if you must. My wife just bought this for me. It's a 1971 Honda CL350, it runs great and is a blast to ride. Enjoy, I know I will!

And now back to our regularly scheduled forum talk. My truck.

That will make a great spare for your truck.

That reminds me alot of my 65 250 Scrambler.

Very cool! Great wife!

The first bike I paid moeny for was a 1971 Honda 175, very similar to your 350. I saved my lawmower money for almost a year to buy it ($175). Then I had a CB350

Have fun with it

Back in 77 I had a bike that could have been your bikes twin brother. I mean that thing you got is the same color and everything.

Thats the very first bike I ever owned back in 72! Thirty seven years later and I'm still with Honda's. Just a little bigger now. VTX 1800N.

I always liked the CL series Hondas. Looks like yours has survived the years in really good condition. I've been on the lookout for a long time for a mid 60's cl 72 or 77.

Always good when the wife supports our passions.

Congrats
Andrew

That's a real cool bike! And the truck looks good too!

My sister has an SL350K0 that is very similar except the pipes run under the frame and some other minor differences. Her husband bought it in the 70's and it's been sitting in the same place in the garage since I met him in the early 80's. He passed away recently and she is ready to sell but I'm in no position to buy! That always seems to be my luck.

Good Luck and wear your melon pad!

Cool! Those were all over campus when I was in college. SL350's especially. If you can eliminate the points, they were only good for about 1,000 miles before losing their settings, but fun bikes!

You can count on that. As far as the color. I've seen two on the internet exactly like mine. Even the sidecovers and headlight were faded. I don't know if it was something Honda used in this orange paint, or what, but the low mileage, chrome, and mechanicals wouldn't suggest that the bike spent a lot of time out in the sun. The price she got it for wouldn't suggest that the guy did a lot of part replacing either.
