F350 In Cab Brake Controller

Can anyone help me with the fitting of a brake pressure transducer to the master cylinder on our early job 1 08 6.4 super duty.

1. What is the torque setting for sensor - the threaded part looks as though
it could be easily snapped off?

2. Will brake fluid be lost when replacing the sensor?

3. Will the brakes require bleeding?

Thanks, John in the UK

Are you replacing a damaged/inop transducer? Hopefully you are not trying to install this in a master cylinder that doesn't have one.

I wouldn't worry about find a torque value. It looks like a straight thread SAE fitting, like most brake line fittings. Just tighten it up by feel. No matter what I think you will have to bleed it. No way to break the line open without getting a bubble in it.

Thanks for response - yes I am replacing faulty transducer, fault code C2800, and I will bleed brake lines.
