So, you plan on exceeding your truck's GVW by 600 lbs., and you are giving people a hard time for driving unsafe rigs?

Hey how about this bud, Tire Specs for General Grabber AT 2

this tire right here, is a load range E and has a weight of 3000 pounds at 80 PSI, so multiply that by 4 since your truck has 4 tires, and you get a grand total of 12,000 pounds, and thats more then enough for your truck.

I have Fire Stone Destinations on my truck, 285/75/R16, and they have a load range rating of E, and hold 3715 per tire, times 4, thats 14800 pounds, once again more then plenty of weight.

I have a 89 F350 SRW Crew Cab with a 9 1/2 ft lance camper and I tow a race car also. I have Dick Cepek FC2 Tires 285/75/16 load range D. I have put over 10,000 miles on it in the past 2 years and have never had a problem. The main thing is to keep the tires inflated to the correct pressure.

On every tire website, they list all the ratings for each size, that is prob the easiest thing for you to do. I have heard nothing but good things about Goodyear Wrangler silent armors. I dont know what your price range is.

Excellent point! Reps given.

Always a good policy to seek advice with grace and patience than with sarcasm and contempt.

i run 305/70/16 lt load e ,good year silent armor's , on my f250 leafed 150 ,no helpers and no issues i lvoe these tires , my truck is lifted 4 inch as well and i use a weight dist hitch on my 29 ft camper trailer. 351 e4od w/3.73 gears . i do fine . the 87 shasta i tow is 4550lb dry . usually with the 40 gallon fresh water tank full as well and food and gear and stuff in the truck bed . yes i realize i am like at the limit of what the trucks frame and 8.8 can handle, but its girdled as well .everything is beefy on it .
