Tire Advice

Hey y'all

Looking to get some recommendations on what set of tires to get. Currently driving a 2002 Ford F150 XLT Supercab with B/F Goodrich Rugged Trail for the rear wheels - still in excellent condition. 265 / 70 / r17

Front tires need replacing. I don't do much 4 x 4ing in the mud, but want adequate performance in mud I guess. Most important is I want it to be decent for winter highway/city driving. I only drive approximately 6-7000 miles per year.

Debating whether to switch out all 4 tires, or only replacing the front pair.

Also wondering about recommendations as to what brand. I don't want to break the bank, but then again I don't want to cheap out either. Any help would be appreciated, as I have no clue what I am doing. Thanks in advance.

Stay with what you have. I put the same on mine to replace the lousy factory tires. I've yet to find anything wrong with any BF Goodrich we have bought.

The Good Year AT/s LT tires are really good in snow. My old man gets about 65k out of his.

take a look at the general grabber at2. ive put about 8000 miles on mine since january and theyve showed almost no wear. best winter traction ive seen from a tire.
take a look at tirerack.com and read up on some of the reviews they have there they are very helpful

I really like the Bridgestone Revos. They are quiet but still do great offroad. They are heavily siped so they do excellent in snow and ice as well. Only downfall is they are a little spendy!
For the performance and price I went to Firestone Destination A/Ts this time around(285/70-17s). I love them so far , and have heard nothing but good ratings from other buyers that I have talked too. I only have about 500 miles on them but time will tell.
