Powder, primers, ammo, shortages on everything

It's great to hear you were able to find then. Now day's it's hit and miss with this stuff. Makes it kind of hard to go out and shoot as often as one would like. One's you run out who knows how long till you get some replacement components. I have been taking it easy on the shooting for that reason. I think I may have 2000 rounds worth of components.

I scored some powder some time ago. Bought too much really. I've noticed that powder and other components have become easier to find, but primers are still the one thing that is scarce. I still want some magnum large rifle primers, but I've got enough for the time being.
I read yesterday that Alliant is making a new series of powder. Called Power Pro, or something like that. They have one that is specifically for the 308 Win.

Where ever I can find it, but usually it's one of these:
www.midsouthshooterssupply.com
www.midwayusa.com
www.natchezss.com
This is that new powder:
Alliant Powder - Latest Products
But they don't have any loading data posted for it, so I'm not sure how you are supposed to start using it. Must be very recently released.

I need a couple of pounds of FFF & 1000 Large Pistole Primers, as all my sources in the San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys have dried up.
If you'd keep your eyes open for me & let me know or please pick it up & I'll reimburse you for it.

Good luck with Cabela's. They are one of the few that will take backorders, so I put primers on a backorder and figured I would just wait them out. Then I got an email saying they would ship xx/xx date. Then got another saying, sorry, no they won't. A few weeks later, same email and same sorry email. That went on for 3 or 4 times, until finally they figured it out and sent an email cancelling the backorder. Took 6 months of just wasting my time.
Ammo has gotten easier to get, so hopefully they come through for you before the new CA law goes into effect.

Serg, I suggest you go to the Natchez site, get registered, and sign up for the email alert for that powder. That's how I got the primers. They came in, they sent me an email, and I went to the site and purchased. They don't take backorders, but the email system seems to work pretty good.
You could probably even use a cell phone email address.
