well I thought I had this truck sold but I guess not.anyhow I have a 1978 F150 4x4.302/4spd/205.brand new 31 inch bfg all terrains on sand blasted and painted silver steel spokes,new rotors,pad and calipers,all new steel brake lines and front flew hoses,new heater core and other misc. new small parts.excellant frame.the cab has been patched up,not how I would do it but not too bad,I painted it last week and it looks good,the box needs a little work but really solid floor and sills great,sides have some dents and the back rail needs work.it has all the ranger xlt stuff,some new front end bushings.make a good project for someone,I'm not sure houw great the engine is but its got fresh plugs,wires cap and button.asking $1600 obo I do have pics of the truck check out my gallery,and I'll have some more of it since I painted the cab by the end of the weekend.just pm me or my email is arthurbar@hotmail.com

I have the original ford fiberglass cap for a 1978 full sized ford with 8 foot box for sale,the back window frame has some cracks,as does around the front window.not perfect by any means but easily fixed if you wanted a factory ford cap.asking $100 or best offer,just don't have any use for it and don't want it to get ruined sitting on the ground outside

 

I am near Halifax, looking for the following:

1 1973-1979 F100 or F150, 2 wheel drive. Looking to spend about $1000, for a truck I can put on the road. Engine condition unimportant, but would prefer manual tranny in place.

May pay more for the right truck.

Also looking for: 2 doors, 1973-1979 style, 1 C4 or C6 4x4 Auto trans, must be long tailshaft version (late 70's style) and a 78-79 Bronco tailgate for other projects.

looking to buy a frame for an F250 4x4 from 1978 or 79,might also consider a highboy frame if all crossmembers and mounts are good.must not have any major cracks and no repairs,and only minor surface rust,I realize this won't be easy to find.will also consider buying whole rusty truck to get a good frame,or will buy one with running gear.may also consider F250 2x4 frame if condition and price are right.thanks in advance for any replies or leads to finding one.

 

highboy frames share a few crossmembers with F350's through the 80's, so they can be easier to find - for what it's worth

 

I have a few parts for sale from the 1973 to 79 trucks
-an almost perfect set of black interior door panels.
-race track chrome,not bent,complete.
-tailgate chrome insert.(2)
-tail light chrome with the two horizontal bars top and bottom of gate.
-two fiberglass front fenders in decent shape.
-two mirrors,arms need to be cleaned up,but the mirrors themselve are brand new chrome.
-1978 302,74653 kms.only part missing is timing cover.runs excellant,great oil pressure.
-302 exhaust manifolds.1978 truck.
-aod auto tranny.(cheap)146xxx kms.
-step bumper and brackets for 1978 truck,excellant shape,not bent,one tiny whole in top checker plate.
I am willing to trade,I am looking for 9inch ford center section,with tracloc and 3:55 to 4:11 gears for 31 spline axles.prices are completly negotable on everthing except the black door panels ($100) and the 302 engine ($350)

 

Would rather sell complete truck for $700 but will part out. Have the 'right' width rear end for a dually project !

I am selling a new set of crystal clear headlights, corner lights, and bumper lights, along with a NEW billet grill and headlight trim for a 95 F-series.
These parts were on the truck just to see what they looked like and the vehicle was never driven with these on. The headlight trim is cheap aftermarket but still looks good.

I'd love to see someone who knows exactly what this is scoop it up, rather than someone just looking for a mud truck to thrash.
