Hey Ken what does it have for suspension.

What VW motor and tranny combo is it?

Is it a 1600 cc?

 

Ive had 3 guys tell me they could tell what engine it is.
Nobodys seems to know.
Do you know a way to tell?
One guy said it was a van engine and tranny.

 

No markings or numbers on it?

Is it pretty powerful?

I would not mind a dune buggy just for fun, if the suspension is even half assed good, and it has decent power.

Looks like regular VW suspension to me.
Could put some diffrent shocks on it.

 

Thats cool ken...Is the metal box there the actual battery box?

I assume it does not sit by the passengers feet.

 

No that box is just a tool box the battery is in a proper place behind the passengers seat.
Its got race car approved seat belts.
Electric fuel pump.
Headslights.
I never had it in 4th yet so I dont know how fast it goes.
It goes fast enough around the yard in second.

Thats a old battery just sitting there.
I didnt even notic it when I took the pictures.

 

Thats cool Ken, if its not already sold when I next go thru the puddle, i would like to stop and seeit, maybe just find it a new home in my back yard, that looks like fun.

Does the front end have 5 grease fittings?

 

Its seems to have no grease fittings in the front?

 

Ok, if it had grease fittings then the front end would be from a Volkswagen Vanagone or transporter bus.
