i need pictures of the lightning i havent had time to go see what is out there and i just hope it doesnt look like the new explorers fronts ya know what i mean the ones that look like Snap-On tools put them together...i like it smooth and slick like the 2000 and 2001. if anyone could send me some i would really love it! and the rumors saying that they might discontinue the Lightning, if that happens im gonna go break some skulls!

I went to the dealer to look at the 2002's. They had three, white, blue, and black. The blue looks good. Other than the keypad on the drivers door, they are identical to the 2001's. Same pricing as well. The black one found its way into my garage.

Are you sure the white truck was an 02. I believe that the colors for 02 were blue,black,red,and silver no white. Congradulations on you purchase! I too bought a black 02 lightning.
The white one was a 2001, they had two. One of them was a demo. The white 2001 was next to the 2002 blue. They looked the same, except the keypad on the drivers door. When I went back the next day, the blue one was gone. The black is what I wanted, lucky it was still available.
