Well, I am on my way back from the Utah trip. Moab was awesome, but getting there was horrible. I had two blowouts on the trailer, had to replace all 4 tires. I changed one in the snow outside of Laramuie, Wyoming in the snow while wearing flipflops, shorts and a tshirt. It was 80 in KC,Mo, 30 in Wyoming. The expy did awesome. I have had almost 2 years, it had about 12K miles when I left, now its up around 18K miles. The total load was around 14-15K lbs, and I only slowed down significantly one time, that was east bound on I70 going through Vail, Co. It slowed down to 50mph. I got around 10mpg once I got rid of ethanol BS, but with 10% ethanol blend, I was struggling at around 8mpg. The expy does not like to tow with hippy, liberal, stupid ethanol blend gasoline. Helping me increase my carbon footprint, 2 mpg at a time...
Here are a few pics from the trip:

Not sure what a group of VXs is called, but here it is:

Thanks, although I get ribbed about driving a Ford, the Isuzu guys acknowledge that it takes 100% American horsepower to tow a trail rig that weighs in over 5K lbs plus the 2K lb trailer. I love my expy, it looks good and runs like a champ. A lot of envious looks when I roll up with the Expy and VX on a trailer.

*sigh*, if only I still had my Mako 191 boat still...I would be livin the high life

The expy is about to get its 4th oil change in 2 years. At 18K miles, only had full synthetic in it. It is certainly pampered, and the interior looks brand new, thanks to wet okole seat covers. My wife has the best Orange County minivan ever!!!

The bumper is finally done, 2nd gen, only VX with a FULL custom bumper anywhere in the world.

I spent the last few months building, unbuilding and rebuilding...finally done.

Here is a video of the new LED lights.
