I have a 2.8 L v6 I got out of a Bronco II that is going in an offroad buggy. Which automatic tranny's will bolt up to this engine?

Thanks in advance

C-4 and C-5 were stock on the Bronco II. The A4LD was as well but I`d pass on that one.

C4's were never stock in a Bronco II. A C4 with a 2.6/2.8L C5 bellhousing will bolt up, though. The A4LD is another option, but you'd want one with a heavy-duty rebuild and external fluid cooler - actually in any case with an automatic for trail riding/buggy setup. C5's are getting somewhat difficult to find. Can't remember if the C3's out of the older 2.6/2.8L Pinto's, Capri's, and Mustang II's are usable or if the bellhousing will bolt up to a C4 case - actually, I think those were equipped with C4's, don't quite remember. In the case of a C4 or C5, IIRC, you'd want the pan-fill models - I don't recall the number cast / stamped on the case, but they're pretty obvious to spot.
