Oil pan gasket replacement

Yes, you can. Buy a Chilton or Haynes manual for your truck, it has the procedure. It involves removing the upper intake for clearance, unbolting one motor mount, unbolting exhaust, jacking up one side of the motor, dropping pan then removing oil pump then the pan can be dropped out and removed so you can do a proper job of affixing the new gasket and end pieces to the pan.....Not a fun job, but doable with time and patience, helps to have a good garage to work in and a helper.
