Thorley Headers

Hey guys- I am thinking about installing a set of Doug Thorley headers #THY-218 on my 2000 EX. Does anyone have any experience with these headers and what do you think of the installation and performance?

I'm assuming you have a V10?

Ok, in that case, I'll move this down to the V10 forum. You'll get much better answers there.

I have them on my truck and really like them. I didn't install them but the shop that did said the only problem was the aftermarket exhaust I had on. There are a few threads here on the Thorleys and most are recent. You can do a search to find them.

I have had mine on for about a month now. Really woke the truck up, even compared to the y-pipe mod which helped. The installer did have some trouble. I contacted Thorley and they said they have fixed the problems since I had purchased mine. I don't think you will be disappointed.

I ordered a set today. I'll be installing them myself hopefully in the next couple of weeks, but to the stock converter and tailpipe.(soon to be replaced) I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Truck went to the shop Friday and said he was going to start Saturday. Hopefully I'll have it back today. I'll post back up with impressions.

Just got a call from him and he said the headers bolted up fine with the exception of the header to the cat. He said the headers are about 2 feet short of connecting with the cat flange. And of course Thorley is closed today. Did anyone with the headers get more than just the 2 sides and the crossover pipe? Or is that all there is? Thats all the picture on the website shows.

Ok, question. I have been looking at these headers and trying to figure out; do i need to buy a new y pipe or do they come with a crossover?
