Where is the ECM location on a 2000 Lightning? It's not in the passenger side kick panel that I was told. I am looking for it to find out what my "code" is to order a Diablo Sport Chip.

It is there, no where else it can go. Remove the panel, and you'll see it held in place. The back side of it sticks out of the firewall with a clamp to a wiring harness. Have you tried the passenger side door frame (by the hinges) first to see if there's a sticker there?

 

All I saw when I removed the kick panel was a big wiring harness. Nothing that looked liked a metal box. Do I need to remove the cables and find it behind there? I assume that it's a metal box? How large is it?
