Talking What a deal

wow, my 300-6 was having issues a while back, it urned out o be the injectors being clogged with rust, so i changed the fuel filter and cleaned out he injectors....well over the last month or so it started stutering again, so today i recleaned the injectors, there was alot less stuff in them, but just enough to foul 3 of the injectors..... now its running like a top, i did some browsing for a newer engine, and i found:

1982' Ford SWB would make a great drag truck or parts rig. $450 for entire truck 302 v8, 2 barrel carb, c6 tranny, 9" rear, dual tanks etc....

i contacted this person and they said if i want he whoel thing theyll take 400 bucks! im thinking, WHAT A DEAL!! right??? i mean, this way i can lose the 300-6 with its c6 trans, swap them out, swap out my 8.8" rear with the 9" and wallaH!!!! i should have a nice truck right???? the 302 is stock bored....so that means if i want o make it a 347stroker, HA HA HA i gots a good block to do it with....

let me know what you guys think ok, PEACE!

well first hings first, its gona need a new starter, im gonna get it running in the original truck first, thus far the oil looks great!!!! the tranny oil is still good.... the 2 barrel carb is fairly new! ive been thinking of what im gona do, itll get long-tube headers and a catconv on both sides of the dual exhaust with a cross over pipe to level out the torque... itll be likely i drop the 2 barrel and intake for a 4 barrel setup....aftermarket distributor equipment looks nice. . . .liek to get it in blue if possible, oh and im gonna get taller valve covers, the factory ones look awful.... and its not liek they needed the room, i could put a dual highrise intake on this thing and still use a large air breather lol... comp cams shure is looking good too lol, i have alo9t of resaerch to do lol... PEACE ill get pics posted soon.
